Welcome 2018!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Although 2017 is 4 Days behind us, we are STILL enjoying some awesome fashion that just won’t go away. Not that it has to; lots of looks are going to be highlighted with the earlier trends. There’s lots to expect in Fashion for 2018! I’m excited to work on a few new projects such as my magazine and BOOKS! Thank you for following my site. There’s lots to come. xoxox

Organic Inspiration…

Just thought I’d post a little color inspiration. Love this; it’s not trending but these colors are fun and energetic. This combination could definitely work for Spring/Summer 2018. Actually, you know what? Forget the old theories and wear what you want! At the end of the day, what’s on the streets rules supreme!

Lets Talk PVC

PVC Fashion
As of late, I’ve been reading  fashion reports indicating that the next big trend is PVC clothing. It’s clothing that’s made of Plastic-Coated fabric, or Vinyl. As you can see above, these items can either be colored or transparent. I love pops of color;  the colored rain coats and clear decal boots tend to draw me in. For anyone who isn’t too daring with fashion, the transparent pieces with bold trim would be the best way to go; easy to style and no fuss. Of course, PVC accessories have to same versatility. You can’t go wrong with transparent fashion.

Checks for FALL!

ChecksTrends
Another  awesome trend for Fall 2017 is Check and Plaid prints. The classic monochromatic chequerboard, Blue-Cast, Retro Golden Plaid, and Glitch checks have been trending heavily all across the board; especially in junior wear. The shoe of choice? Suede floral heels, and boots work well with the smoldering berry tones of the season.  The silhouettes above are classic, but with the right pops of color; it’s modern and cool. When styling with these patterns, be sure to keep in mind that layering will make your look plush without the heat. You’ll look warm and not overheated. Don’t be afraid to play with patterns and get creative with accessories. I don’t like to follow dated color stories for Fall. I wear bright bold colors no matter what the season. It’s my mood really. :)

Knitted Dresses; A Must Have for Fall!

KnitDresses

Knitted dresses have always been a regular fashion statement for the Fall season. The ribbed textures, smoldering colors, and of course the comfort factor makes it the go to for quick and easy styling. The look is suitable for any occasion really, and a quick fix when transitioning from work to play. In terms of Quirky Bombshell styling though, I suggest finding these looks in creative cuts and styles. For example, the peek-a-boo sleeve knit dresses are sexy and youthful with a little edginess. Then you have the fitted ones with the thick turtleneck style that’s warm and sophisticated. The go to colors for knit dresses this season are neutral in tone with sunset yellow, deep purple, hunter green, and even chalk white and a stand out shade. Red is stunning too, and seems to be the favorite among Instagram models. Adding accessories like belts, bangles, and earrings this dress is amped up to another level. There’s lots you can do with a knit dress; it’s like a blank canvas, so make it creative.
